Create the Impossible Reel
An AI/CGI concept that transforms a simple product reveal into an impossible visual moment. The reel opens with a close-up of a branded ice cream machine serving the store’s signature vanilla flavor. As the handle is pulled, the ice cream slowly falls to the ground and seamlessly transforms into the complete shoe, revealing the final product through a surreal transformation.
THE PROCESS
The transformation wouldn't hold on its own, so I broke it into a sequence the model could actually learn. I started with the shoe rendered in glass, a transparent shell that told the AI exactly where the volume lived and what needed filling. Then the same shoe built from ice cream, showing what the material should look like once it filled that shell. Then the real shoe, the target every frame had to resolve toward. Glass, ice cream, real, in that order, each stage teaching the model a different part of the problem: the shape, the substance, the destination. I ran each generation back through Claude, analyzing what worked and what broke, refining the direction shot by shot until the transformation landed clean. The tools don't know how to do this. You have to teach them, one frame, one correction, one pass at a time.
